Parents of a young boy who received critical injuries after being hurled from the 10th floor of the Tate Modern have revealed their "little knight" has reached his goal of managing to swim, run, and jump anew.

The young child was six years old when he was pushed off a balcony by a youth, previously 17.

The child, who was vacationing with the family in 2019 when assaulted, lived through a 30-meter plunge but suffered permanent injuries, like a cranial bleeding and fractures.

Relatives said in an update on a fundraising site, they were delighted that he had been capable to advance with his swimming, running and jumping before his next procedure.

"He doesn't perform as youngsters at his age, of course, but we cannot explain his movements in another manner than by saying it's running, jumping, and swimming."

"It's distinct, just for a few meters or a very small height, but it's an amazing success."

The boy, who endured months in critical care, has kept to build cognitive endurance.

Parents stated although his recollection capacity were still highly constrained, they were operational and improving, so he was "acquiring a general knowledge at his own pace, which progressively enables him to be included with other children."

The family continued: "He is also maturing, and because of his therapy with the psychomotor therapist, he currently enables himself to rest."

He also achieved a long-standing objective with his father: "As we dwell a few kilometres from the ocean, they had planned their final goal of enjoying a outdoor meal at the beach and then returning."

"Following multiple gradual preparation efforts, they finally achieved their 150-minute excursion. They returned tired but delighted. Mission accomplished."

Following a court case at the central criminal court, the teenager was sentenced of murder attempt and was incarcerated in two thousand twenty for at least fifteen years.
