I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.

Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
