To prepare the Cordial: Combine the listed components inside a pot, bring to a simmer, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Next, remove from the stove and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Pour to a sealable bottle, close it and store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for about a month.
Preparing the Batch Mix: Pour every liquids into one large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then strain best through muslin, so it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your batch mix into a mixing glass containing ice, gently stirring gently for one minute to chill. Filter into a chilled martini glass or equivalent, garnish with a few cranberries and finish using a brief mist of the essential oil over the top.
